Ada City-County Emergency Management ( ACCEM ), previously known as Civil Defense, is a local government agency responsible for disaster preparedness. ACCEM represents Ada County, Ada County Highway District, Boise, Eagle, Garden City, Kuna, Meridian and Star. We are a division of Ada County, Idaho, and work closely with other local, state, and federal agencies to help our community mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and emergencies ( see Emergency Management Phases on the left ). Bisterfeldt Public Safety Building at 7200 Barrister Drive in Boise. Our normal business hours are 8am 5pm, Monday through Friday.
