From a young age children are virtual sponges, taking in everything around them, and learning at an amazing speed. At ABC it is our responsibility to help further encourage your child to learn and become the best they can be from an early age. Did you know that children with involved parents or adults in their life develop secure styles of attachments? That's right. They not only develop healthy attachments, but they also have a higher chance of having more self-esteem as well as being further advanced and mature than children with other attachment styles. Each and every day a fun and exciting academic curriculum is followed. These activities help engage your child in play and learning. There are a multitude of themes that will not only encourage your child's mental growth, but it will also help them learn the basics for entering school. Some of the themes taught on a daily basis include learning colors, identifying shapes, counting, dance, tumbling and the alphabet. If your child isn't prepared for school, the transition from a non-structured environment to a structured environment can be extremely overwhelming. Another important aspect of childhood development is the ability to actively get along with others. This is essential to their social growth. At ABC we want all the children, from the youngest to the oldest, to reach their maximum potential. We believe that this all begins at this stage in their life.
