The Oshkosh West is the online student newspaper of the Oshkosh West High School in Oshkosh, Wis. Founded in 1903 and published eight times a year, it has been providing students, faculty and staff with campus news, sports and entertainment, as well as local and national coverage. Its news focuses on local happenings around the school. Its opinion page is a forum of open thought and debate regarding topics relevant to the community. Its art and entertainment section carries news about films, plays and music programs. The sports page covers a variety of stories that include track, golf, volleyball and basketball. The Index celebrated its 100th anniversary with a special section looking back on a century of high school journalism.
