The treasure that is Waioli in Manoa has been restored and brought back to life as a new restaurant where genuine hospitality and high-quality artisanal ingredients complement menus focused around housemade breads, pastries and pies, as well as produce, honey and sea salt from the property. One the site of the historic Waioli Tea Room and on the road to the Manoa Falls, Waioli Kitchen & Bake Shop is a vibrant community-oriented gathering place for great meals and conversation while serving a greater social purpose. This Manoa landmark in the rainforest on the Salvation Army campus has been returned to its original purpose and today the restaurant offers vocational and skills training for individuals coming out of incarceration and graduates of substance disorder treatment programs.
