Wailupe Beach Park, located in Aina Haina, is a small neighborhood park in east Honolulu. Frequented by fishermen and local residents, this narrow beach offers picnic tables and shallow nearshore waters, but is not suitable for swimming due to its rocky ocean bottom and murky water.

Surfers also use this park as an entry point to reach popular surf spots offshore. Despite its limitations for water activities, Wailupe Beach Park provides restrooms, showers, and a convenient location along Kalanianaole Highway.

There's just something about the beach... Probably is because I search for all my shells personally which are treasures from the beach no diving just walking along as I love the escape along side...

On a Sunday afternoon, we came to check this out with our small terrier dog who loves exploring. Beach is not too crowded.

A beach is a beach, isn't it? It's an oasis that can pass you by if you aren't paying close attention. I remember spending one visits with friends here, one of which was on the eve of my 39th...
