Established in 1998, Waikiki Beachside Hostel is one of the largest of the Honolulu hostels or any hostel in Hawaii. It offers amenities, such as nightly barbecue and breakfast, beachside internet caf , outdoor lounge area, lockers, storage room, to name a few. In addition, Waikiki Beachside Hostel provides female only dorms and semi-private rooms, telephones, kitchens and large color televisions in every room. It serves free coffee, tea, toast and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the lounge area in the morning. Other onsite features include parking, surfboard boogie board, snorkel and moped rentals, laundry facilities and a full range of tour booking as well as information services at the reception desk.
