History

House has been owned by Jeffrey & Sally Mermel since 1977. The Volcano Village Serenity Suite was built in 2014. It is a suite that has it's own private entry from the street and a beautiful path of native forest leads to a private deck with entry to both rooms of the suite (two doors). This is an old growth Hawaiian rainforest with many native ferns and the wonderful ohia lehua trees. Also located in a bird corridor, the songs of the native honeycreeper,
