In 1976 Sally Mermel, a former school teacher opened "The Most Irresistible Shop in Hilo" in the heart of Downtown Hilo. 37 years later in 2013, Sally sold the shop to Tracie Yoshimoto (4th generation Hilo-girl), who dreamed of owning the store for many years. The shop features an eclectic array of gift items for locals and visitors. Shoppers will find postcards, jewelry, t-shirts, lotions/soaps, toys, kitchen, decor, wind chimes and more - made in Hawaii and imported.
