History
Originally a Tattoo shop transformed into Hawaii's secret Chinatown speak easy featuring world famous Jazz groups, DJ's, and live bands of all genres of music. In 2014 was named top places to see in the world! in the Nat Geo travel edition. The New York Times listed the Dragon Upstairs top 100 places to visit in Hawaii. We will strive to keep the vibe alive and get through this Pandemic together with music as our Universal Language.

Since the Pandemic of 2020 the Dragon Upstairs now specializes in world famous DJ's featuring all types of music broadcasted to the world! Our intimate live band shows will resume after the Pandemic settles down and we can re-program our entertainment for your intimate downtown chinatown needs. We are a boutique personality bar-lounge that goes late on the weekends. Shhh!
