History

Initially established as a custom sewing business, I gradually transitioned to being a sewing alterations and repairs service due to the high demand for these services in our community. We have also been an arts and crafts shop in addition to a sewing service business. This year, 2022, post pandemic, we are once again reviving as an Arts and Crafts shop featuring quality items from Hawaii, the US, and around the world. Specialties

Specializing in Sewing alterations: We are equipped to handle your sewing needs from hemming, clothing repairs, zipper and elastic replacements, sewing on of patches, uniform alterations, and tapering on some types of clothing. We will not be doing bridal, formal/semi formal, outerwear (coat and jacket ) and suit alterations at this time, with the exception of orders we received prior to this announcement. Arts and Crafts Shop: We have also reopened as an arts and crafts shop featuring quality products handcrafted by artisans here in Hawaii, the US, and around the world. We are featuring a selection of books and photography by some of our local writers and artists. We carry safe, healthy, natural and organic products for our families which are earth and ocean friendly too! These carefully selected products include handcrafted organic soaps and personal care products, reusable items such as bags, baskets and utensils made from biodegradeable bamboo, natural fibers, and metal as an alternative to plastics and chemicals that endanger our earth, seas, and wildlife. We have something for everyone: toys, kitchenware, accessories, organic baby products, hypoallergenic skincare products, and home decor. This list will continue to grow as we select more wholesome and healthy products for our customers. We also select brands that ensure that the artisans are fairly compensated for their fine work and are able to earn a good living for themselves and their families.
