Sugar Beach, also known as Kealia Beach, is said to be the longest beach on Maui, stretching for about 2.5 miles from Ma'alaea to north Kihei. With its long sandy shoreline, it is perfect for a leisurely beach stroll and offers a peaceful atmosphere with few buildings and visitors. The beach is popular among kite and windsurfers, as well as kayakers, who take advantage of the breezy offshore winds. It is also a great spot for whale watching during the winter months.

Not a bad beach, but expect wind and minimal shade. Would recommend coming early mornings before the trade winds hit. Great scenery & very soft sand.

It's a very beautiful and quiet beach, very few tourists, mostly a local beach for residents. It's long and narrow, very comfortable to walk along and observe the islands over the other side.
