The Hawai inui kea School of Hawaiian Knowledge, established in 2007, encompasses the Kamakakōkālanai Center for Hawaiian Studies, Kawaihuelani Center for Hawaiian Language, and the Ka Papa Loʻi o Knewai Cultural Garden. As the first new school or college established on the Mānoa campus since 1982, it uniquely represents indigenous knowledge within a Research I institution in the United States.

The mission of Hawai inui kea is to pursue, perpetuate, and revitalize various forms of Hawaiian knowledge through research and education. It serves as a vital resource for Native Hawaiian students and the wider community, promoting cultural understanding and heritage.

Definitely one of the older buildings on campus. How do I know? it just smells old haha. The building itself is pretty old school where everything is some shade of brown. Lame. Entering the...
