Sparky's Surf School

Sparky's Surf School is a small local business in Waikiki, where you can experience surfing with Sparky; a true Hawaiian Beachboy. Sparky is more than a surf instructor, he'll provide you with a unique Hawaiian surf experience because surfing for the first time should be more than just a lesson! Sparky has been a licensed instructor on Waikiki beach for 12 years, and has over 40 years of surfing experience in the ocean. A quality over quantity approach is taken for all lessons because I care & customer satisfaction is important to me. I strive to provide with the ultimate fun, safe and memorable Hawai'i surf experience. ​​ My objective is for you to stand up on your first lesson, learn something from me about Hawaii's culture, to leave my lesson with me as your new friend, and ultimately for your experience with me to be the highlight of your vacation.​​
