Aloha! Join a marine scientist and certified snorkel instructor for a morning snorkel adventure! I'll teach you all I know about O`ahu's coastal reefs and what I've learned from direct experience shore-diving and working in marine & coastal conservation here on the island. Snorkel Safe O`ahu is a legally registered business with the state and insured for open ocean activities and rented gear. Together, we will review the preparations and knowledge necessary to remain safe and self-aware on snorkel adventures here in Hawai`i as well as tips for snorkeling anywhere else you may travel in the future. After we're done with our lesson, you'll know all you need to 'snorkel pono for life' meaning you'll know how to evaluate potential hazards on any O`ahu beach, the skills associated with the sport of snorkeling, and how to conduct your future explorations with safety and respect for coastal communities worldwide.
