Shinshu Kyokai Mission of Hawaii, founded on April 14, 1914, in Pawaa, is an independent group of Jodoshinshu faithful primarily composed of issei immigrants from Hiroshima. Rooted in the teachings of Shinran Shonin, the mission emphasizes gratitude and reverence based on the principles of Amida Buddha's Primal Vows and Sacred Name, advocating for universal salvation for all sentient beings.
