History

I started farming coffee on the island 23 years ago. I bought the land for the location because the tourist have to pass by this plot to go to see the volcano. I put up one tent and commited myself to setting up and selling my novel, poetry books and bickers of my paintings of the island. I also sold our coffee and jams and mochi and honey and vanilla and other locally made products.i also began writing the novel about about the growth of the market. Eventually the spirit of the place slowly evolved into the community embracing us. I thank you.

What a delightful experience! We got cold coconuts there and were treated to great conversation with Rufus. He also picked us some fruit to try and had great suggestions for places to check out

Great little place for buying stuff and conversation! I may have only had lilikoi and a coconut snack (coffee, fish, macadamias and art are on offer) but talking with Rufus was great times.
