10/14/2024 Pacific Tsunami Museum 130 Kamehameha Ave Hilo, HI 96720 I went there on Columbus Day, so it was open (closed Mondays)! Street parking is available on Kalakaua Street and Kamehameha...

This is only open on the weekends! It is well worth the visit. There is so much history with tsunamis in Hawaii.

This was on our way touring downtown. This tsunami museum with the history of what happened here when the big one hit in April 1 1946

Lots of great information. Wonderful exhibit. I learned a lot of my kids enjoyed so much. Nice to teach them things about the Hilo community and Hawaii. A must see in Hilo.
