Established in 2007, the Hawai inui kea School of Hawaiian Knowledge at the M noa campus is dedicated to the research and revitalization of Hawaiian knowledge through its various centers, including the Kamakak okalani Center for Hawaiian Studies and the Kawaihuelani Center for Hawaiian Language. As the first new school of its kind at a Research I institution in the United States, it uniquely serves the educational needs of indigenous students and the broader community.
