Oceanfront Legacy Vacation Rental

History

We found the Oceanfront Legacy just north of Hilo in Hakalau, on the Big Island, and opened in December of 2012. Since then we have greatly improved the house and the now beautifully landscaped vacation rental grounds.

The Oceanfront Legacy is a Luxurious 11,500 sq.ft. oceanfront architectural masterpiece which sits along the the world famous Hamakua coast just north of Hilo, on the Big Island of Hawaii. Overlooking the vast Pacific Ocean, you can spot Humpback whales while sipping coffee in the gazebo, overlooking the ocean or on one of our private lanai's. This property contains a total of 10 gorgeous bedrooms in 8 individual units. Each bed comes with Cal. King mattresses; living rooms in the suites and penthouse, 1 full kitchen for all our guests, and 4 kitchenettes/ wet bars in the larger units. We have two 2-bedroom Penthouses that each offer 2 spacious bedrooms with 2 private baths and an additional large room for additional persons or as a living room, kitchenette as well as 2 lanai's. Please be aware that this has been upgraded and now has new management. A/C is available in some of the rooms if needed. Great care was taken with the landscape, creating a tropical palm tree oasis great for weddings, events or just plain relaxing. We have a large full kitchen which is for all of our guests to share. The Gazebo, close to the ocean, has a barbecue and is a great place to prepare outdoor meals. In the gardens and around the property are chairs and tables so there is always a pleasant place to enjoy the peace and views.
