I opened Neurofeedback Maui after searching for an alternative brain-based treatment for my clients who I knew psychotherapy would not be enough for. We've been open since May, 2016 and have seen hundreds of satisfied patients thus far!

Specialties

Neurofeedback Maui specializes exclusively in EEG Biofeedback or neuro-Biofeedback. This evidenced- based neuroscience is non-invasive, holistic, and is connection between physiology and psychology. Neurofeedback retrains and balances the brain by feeding-back data from brainwave activity through visual and auditory information, using principals of operant conditioning and neuroplasticity. We train brainwaves that have come out of harmony due to stress, trauma, and organic brain damage; reteaching the brain to self-adjust and regulate from the feedback it's given. Best of all, the changes are lasting! Stephanie Garcia, MA, NP is a member of the Hawaii Biofeedback Association and holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is trained in EEG Biofeedback and is an authorized Neurofeedback Practitioner as well as certified in addiction counseling.
