Muscle Mechanics Hawaii (MMH) began with two licensed massage therapists and a shared belief that massage is more than just a way to occasionally pamper yourself at a luxury spa. Massage is a way to care for yourself and keep your body running at its optimum. Modern life often requires the human body to be in unnatural positions for extended periods of time (ex. sitting at the computer, looking down while texting on a cell phone). This often results in recurring pain in certain common areas (ex. lower back, neck, shoulders). The body adapts by moving in ways to minimize the pain and we learn to accept that the discomfort is just a normal part of aging.
