Moanalua Gardens Foundation (MGF) is a non-profit organization based in Honolulu, Hawaii, dedicated to preserving and protecting the environmental and cultural resources of the region. With over five decades of experience, MGF offers educational programs that help students understand and appreciate the history and cultural significance of Kamananui Valley. They also organize the annual Prince Lot Hula Festival, a non-competitive celebration of hula that brings together premier hula groups from throughout the islands.

Through their Mālama Kamananui program, MGF educates and inspires youth to care for the lands and protect Kamananui, the last undeveloped valley in urban Honolulu. They also preserve the moʻolelo (history) of the region through their Hāliʻa, Living Memories of Moanalua oral history program. Additionally, MGF is currently developing the first Moanalua Forest Reserve Management Plan to ensure the preservation of Kamananui for future generations. With their commitment to education, stewardship, and cultural celebration, MGF plays a vital role in preserving the history, native culture, and environment of Hawaii.
