I got into this business for two reasons. First, both of my next door neighbors were robbed in the span of two years, and second, I wanted my mother and brother who are physically disabled to have the full use of the home with their phones but also feel secure. I used to sell all the components of a smart home, like network routers & switches, control panels, patch panels, audio and visual cables, security cameras, etc.. Thanks to my relationship with various manufacturers, I learned how these products worked and how to make them work in a network and even trained people all over the state on how to install and set these things up.
