Maui AIDS Foundation

Ka Lima O Maui is Hawaiian for Helping Hands of Maui. Located on the island of Maui in the Hawaiian town of Wailuku, Ka Lima O Maui serves adults who are physically, emotionally or economically disadvantaged. The organization s facility provides diagnostic evaluation, work adjustment training, placement, employment and other rehabilitation support activities that will enable people to attain optimal actualization of abilities and achieve an improved lifestyle. Ka Lima O Maui operates a plant nursery and thrift store where people with disabilities can work and gain important life and employment skills. The organization also is involved in job placement for members in its caseload. There are several fund raising events that help raise money for this organization, such as 100 Holes of Golf and Cycle To The Sun.
