History
Ma'ona lunch counter opened in 2007 and was originally located downtown Hilo next to the farmers market. Moving to the Hilo shopping center in 2012. After a fire in 2015 forced us to relocate to Keaau in Shipman business park, where we are currently located (5 minutes outside of Hilo heading south on Hwy 19). We are open Monday-Friday10am-2pm, also we are CASH and VENMO ONLY. Due to the current covid19 situation we offer takeout only. We also have a food trailer that operates Saturday ONLY in the old Sears parking lot from 10am until 2pm or sold out. We also use the trailer for private events. Feel free to call and check for availability.
