To get here map out Makapu'u light house. There is a lot of parking. You can do the regular hike in flip flops since it is paved- but for your safety you should wear sneakers for the tide-pools....

pls be cautious !! i've heard lots of incidents occur here especially during high tide seasons and the climb ascending down is really dangerous... which is why i had to do it before i'm old hahaha...

It's a beautiful scenery, unfortunately experiencing, relaxing, however be cautious when to go, on high tide season be prepared some waves are strong and dragged uncontrollably through the rocks...

Worth the extra hike! Bring hiking shoes and water shoes. The tidepools were a great experience.
