Lum Sai Ho Tong Hawai'i, established in 1889 by a group of Chinese immigrants, serves as a vital community hub for cultural support and spiritual solace. It is particularly associated with Tin Hau, the patron saint of the Lum Lim Lam Lem and Lin clan, known for her dedication to assisting those in need.

For over a century, Lum Sai Ho Tong has played a significant role in preserving Chinese culture while actively collaborating with local government entities to enhance the Chinatown neighborhood. The temple continues to be a space for gatherings, celebrations, and the communal reverence of traditions.
