Lahaina Jodo Mission, founded in 1912, is a historic Buddhist temple located at Puunoa Point in Lahaina, Hawaii, an area rich in cultural significance as the first capital of the Hawaiian Islands. The temple, which features a stunning Great Buddha and Temple Bell, was rebuilt in 1970 after a fire destroyed the original structure, with contributions from the local community and Japanese craftsmen.

Beautiful. Right next to the ocean! Largest buddha outside of Japan! If in Lahaina, I highly recommend to stop by and see.
