KITV 4 is an ABC affiliate television station that is owned and operated by Hearst-Argyle. Hearst-Argyle owns approximately 25 television stations and manages an additional three television and two radio stations throughout the United States. The company owns approximately 10 NBC, nearly 15 ABC and two CBS affiliates. WESH provides local news, sports and weather in addition to standard programming and national news coverage. Its corresponding Web site delivers breaking headlines, desktop news and weather alerts, job listings, yellow pages and a community events calendar. The station sponsors several local community events each year, such as the Merrie Monarch Festival and Keiki Hula Competition. KITV 4 employs more than 120 people and is located in Honolulu.
