We lucked into a canoe ride with the club members. They fitted us, gave a quick lesson, then we were off. So patient the whole ride as I learned the ropes. Beautiful ride complete with a dolphin...

The members have a sincere respect for the land and the ocean. They gave us an incredible view and ended our outing with an island cultural experience that we will never forget.

Keauhou Canoe Club has lost their way. More a social club for mainland retirees and snowbirds than a Hawaiian racing outrigger canoe club. Support the local businesses.....like Kona Boys.....they...
