Founded in 1990, Domestic Violence Action Center, formerly known as the Domestic Violence Clearinghouse and Legal Hotline, is a nonprofit organization in Hawaii. The agency accepts large numbers of high-risk divorce, temporary restraining order, postdecree and paternity cases. It has a staff of more than 50 employees. Domestic Violence Action Center offers training, education and technical assistance services. The agency participates in working committees coordinated by government agencies, such as the Department of the Attorney General, Department of Education and The First Judicial Circuit.
