Founded in 1949, the Hawai'i Preparatory Academy is an independent coeducational school that provides a range of learning opportunities for students. The academy serves students in kindergarten through grade 12 and offers programs for visual and performing arts. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, as well as is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and theCollege Entrance Examination Board. The Hawai'i Preparatory Academy offers advanced placement courses in history, biology, calculus, computer science, English, French, macroeconomics, music theory and statistics. The academy also provides sports activities in cross-country, football, soccer, swimming, basketball, volleyball and soccer. The Hawai'i Preparatory Academy is located in Kamuela, Hawaii.
