HPC Foods Ltd. is one of the state's largest food manufacturers and distributors. Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, the company produces a variety of products for the Taro Brand label, including poi, sprouts and cut fruits and vegetables. HPC Foods Ltd. also provides distribution, manufacturing/private labeling and product development services for businesses. In addition to Taro Brand products, it distributes other local and mainland products, such as Chun Wah Kam noodle products, Kanai Tofu, Aloha Tofu, Fresh Express and Ready Pac packaged salads and Brassica Brocco Sprouts.

Whole family got itchy throat from 2 tubs of taro brand poi which we bought from Foodland. Emailed them immediately after and got no response.

HPC Foods' Taro Pancake Mix is becoming a no-brainer Sunday morning breakfast. HPC dehydrates poi and blends it with wheat flour. This yields a fluffy & light pancake with a slight purple tint....
