It's bon season!!! The festivity surrounding the bon dances are what draws the crowds. Each hongwanji has their own type of food served, and dances. i recommend going early for the good food...

We look forward to Hongwanji's bon dance every year - mainly for the andagi (Okinawan doughnuts) to be honest. They usually have two flavors - regular (sugar) and cinnamon/sugar. 4 for $1....
