History

Holo Holo was founded on Kauai in 1997 with a simple idea: build amazing, high speed boats that can take Kauai's challenging ocean conditions in stride and deliver visitors to remote and dramatic locations like the Napali Coast, Kipu Kai, Lehua Crater, and Niihau; combine that with an exceptional staff that's focused on giving our passengers a first-class vacation experience, and we've found a recipe for success. Owner of Holo Holo Charters, Kevin Millett, is recognized as one of Hawaii's premier multi-hull designer boat builders. He sailed to Hawaii from California in 1988, spending a couple years on Maui building tour vessels for Trilogy Excursions. In 1990 he moved to Kauai where he established his own boat building business. Kevin recognized a need for world-class touring vessels on Kauai so he founded Holo Holo Charters, Inc. and began designing and building our flag-ship vessel Holo Holo.
