The history of boiled peanuts originated in the Southern United States. It has been recorded as far back in History as when the early settlers occupied the colonies. I'm sure there have been many renditions to the recipe since then. I learn how to prepare our special recipe from my Grand Mother many years ago. She would often cook her peanuts and always share it with our family, friends and neighbors.
