Helemano Plantation, located in Wahiawa, HI, is a unique community dedicated to providing training and employment opportunities for the developmentally disabled. Founded by Susanna F. Cheung, this ten-acre complex offers a real-world work environment with a Country Inn Restaurant, Gift Shop, Bake Shop, and Farm, as well as a nine-unit residential program called Helemano Village.
Recognized for its outstanding contributions, Helemano Plantation has received prestigious awards such as the National Community Service and Development Award of Excellence. Mrs. Susanna Cheung, the founder, was also named a finalist for the Pacific Business News Business Leader of the Year. At Helemano Plantation, visitors can experience the true spirit of Aloha and take a piece of it with them.
