Founded in 1960, Hawaii National Bank has been one of the keystone institutions of Hawaii finance, providing a wide range of services to small business customers and individual account holders. The bank was one of the first in Hawaii to offer education loans, daily interest on savings, compounded daily interest on savings, free personal checking accounts, free business checking accounts and a home equity credit line.It is the only bank in Hawaii to participate in the Overseas Chinese Credit Guarantee Fund, which provides loan guarantees to small businesses owned by overseas Chinese. Hawaii National Bank is located in the Chinatown neighborhood of downtown Honolulu and is a subsidiary of Hawaii National Bankshares.

The bank tellers who work here are not very nice, and quite frankly incredibly rude. I recommend not banking here and going down the street to one of the other many banks in the area.

The branch seams very unfriendly. More concerned about there process then the people they serve. In this day and age customer service needs to be the focus. much prefer CPB, FHB and BOH
