Pleasant and quiet hotel, if you don't mind coqui frogs, reminiscent of old Hawaii. The coffee, banana bread, and papayas in the morning are appreciated.

We stayed for a couple nights while in Hilo and you can't ask for a better little hotel. The rooms are comfortable, and while there is no AC with the windows open and the fans on we slept great....

Just about everything I said about Wild Ginger Inn, also applies here. In fact, they are so close as to be within walking distance of each other. The bonus is that the man that runs the show...

Clean spacious room, full kitchen, nice neighboring garden. Friendly and helpful staff, fantastic banana bread!
