Cheese Please, established in May 2017, is a unique food truck in Kamuela, HI, specializing in raclette, a melted cheese dish that originated in the Alps approximately 800 years ago. The founders sought to introduce this distinctive culinary experience to the Big Island, having been inspired by raclette at London’s Borough Market.
Initially debuting at the Waimea Town Market in October 2017, Cheese Please has since transformed a vintage 1962 Grumman Olson into their food truck, bringing the vibrant flavors of raclette to various locations across the island. Their commitment to offering something different yet familiar has set them apart as the first and only purveyor of raclette in Hawai'i.
