Banan

Banan is a food truck built by four childhood friends who grew up on Oahu. After graduating from separate universities across the states in spring of 2014, they decided to put their heads together to pursue an entrepreneurial endeavor that would push the world in a mindful and playful direction. Turning locally grown bananas into a dairy-free soft serve became their vessel to do so! We offer four flavors at our truck: Banana, Acai, Greens (ginger, mint, spirulina), and our fourth is always a changing seasonal flavor Our soft-serve is dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan, paleo, and all that healthy stuff! Farm-to-Table and Table-to-Farm: Hawaii imports around 90-percent of our food to feed locals and visiting tourists. Here at Banan, we strive to flip that number and source as many locally grown ingredients as possible! We also give all of our nutrient rich food waste to pig farms, food farms, and local gardeners to be used as pig feed or compost.
