Advanced Kempo Karate is a traditional martial arts school with branches on Oahu and the Big Island of Hawaii, offering training for adults, juniors, and kids as young as 5 years old. Founded by the late 10th-degree Prof. Johnathan Vance, students learn the art of Kempo-Karate from 1st and 2nd generation instructors, focusing on self-defense, physical fitness, self-discipline, awareness, and self-confidence.
The Advanced Kempo-Karate System is an eclectic martial art encompassing all ranges of self-defense from stand-up to grappling, aimed at improving physical fitness and personal development. Each session, led by experienced instructors, lasts 45-60 minutes and follows CDC guidelines and state protocols for safety during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

They changed the class schedule. The toddler classes are Monday and Friday from 6p-630p, children from 630p-730p and adults from 730p-830p. Its better that the younger kids have their own class...

Instructor Brent is wonderful teacher. He is very patient with the little ones and teaches them basics of Kempo and discipline.
