William McDaniel, MD

Lauren Bolle, NP-C, earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a bachelor's degree in nursing from University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She then went on to receive her master's degree in nursing from UAB, specializing in adult-gerontology primary care. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Lauren spent 5 years in the Acute Care for Elders unit at UA Hospital Highlands in Birmingham. Most recently, she served as the assistant nurse manager of the unit. Lauren also worked with Mayfair Internal Medicine in Birmingham providing primary care services to adult and geriatric patients. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and son and their two dogs. Lauren welcomes new patients and accepts most major insurance plans.

Kaleigh Herron, NP, is certified by The American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She specializes in Hematology Oncology, treating polycythemia, iron deficiency, leukopenia, leukocytosis, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytosis, normocytic anemia, lymphocytosis, megaloblastosis, thalassemia, and pernicious anemia. In her spare time, Kaleigh enjoys working out, playing cozy, video games, baking, dancing, and trying new restaurants. Kaleigh welcomes new patients and accepts most major insurance plans.

Amy Varner, M.D., received her bachelor of science degree in biology from Murray State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then went on to obtain her doctorate in Medicine from the University of Kentucky while a member of the AOA Honor Society. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Varner is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. Dr. Varner specializes in executive physicals, anxiety, depression and ADHD, for patients' ages 16 and up. Dr. Varner also performs pap smears and has a special interest in preventative health. In her spare time, Dr. Varner enjoys spending time with family, traveling and being outdoors. Dr. Varner welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
