Founded in 1972, Westminster Schools of Augusta is a Christian preparatory school and ministry of First Presbyterian Church. It is a coeducational, independent day school that serves more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade 12. The school offers more than 10 advanced-placement and over 15 honor courses. Its academic courses includes English, mathematics, foreign languages, social studies, science, Bible study, fine arts and physical education. The school also offers a variety of athletic activities, such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading, baseball, track, tennis, golf and swimming. It is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Southern Association of Independent Schools. The school is located in Augusta, Ga.
