Walton Rehabilitation Hospital

Walton Rehabilitation Hospital is a nonprofit rehabilitation hospital located in Augusta, Ga. Established in 1988, it offers adult and adolescent inpatient and outpatient programs for persons recovering from stroke, head, orthopedic and spinal injuries; chronic pain; and other disabling injuries. Its programs include acute rehabilitation, assisted and independent living services, brain injury rehabilitation, headache management, neurorehabilitation program and pain management. Walton Rehabilitation Hospital provides other services, such as orthopedic rehabilitation, prosthetic fitting and training, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, tone management, stroke rehabilitation, vestibular program and vital stimulus speech therapy. It also conducts research and development of new and improved methods, procedures and devices in the fields of physical medicine and rehabilitation, and pain and headache management.
