Volunteers of America

Established in 1896, Volunteers of America are a ministry of service that caters to those in need of rebuilding their lives. It is a nonprofit organization and one of the largest human services organizations in the United States. Volunteers of America is an interdenominational church engaged in rendering housing, substance abuse, long term care and children/youth care services. It also deals in providing residential supports, low income housing options, counseling, medication management and assistance. The organization has attained accreditation from the American Correctional Association (ACA), Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children Inc. (COA) and Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL).
