Franklin College of Arts and Sciences is a part of the University of Georgia and offers various courses in English, mathematics, history and science. With a faculty organized into departments and schools in five divisions, Franklin College provides instruction leading to bachelors' degrees in more than 25 basic disciplines. The college has various academic departments, such as anthropology, Lamar Dodd School of Art, biochemistry and molecular biology, biological sciences, cellular biology, chemistry, classics, comparative literature and computer science. An individually designed interdisciplinary study major is available for qualified students who wish to concentrate in international and other foreign area studies.
