Mead is perhaps best known as the drink of the Gods, yet many have never heard of this wonderful golden nectar, let alone tasted it! A simple description would be a wine fermented with honey instead of grapes. Mead is not a wine exactly, nor is it a beer. It has similar qualities of both, however it truly is something all it's own. Mead can range from sweet to dry, like a wine. Yet flavors can be as exotic and unusual as many of today's craft beers.

I'm not a mead person, but it's an awesome spot for a flight. You get to try 5 different flavors for $8.50. The bartender was informative and nice.

This is the real deal. A Mead distillery. Nice samples for $5 for 5 samples. Very nice people dedicated to their craft.
