The University Health Center Dental Clinic

The University Health Center is a division of the University of Georgia. It has various facilities, including a health promotion department, clinical laboratory, medical clinic, pharmacy, physical therapy division and radiology center. It provides a variety of counseling and psychiatric care services. It offers several other programs that include psychiatric and psychological analysis through group, individual, short-term and couple counseling programs. The health center also offers assessment, crisis intervention, medication evaluation, and monitoring and referrals to off-campus resources. It additionally provides a range of women s health care services and sports and travel medicine-related services. The health center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. It is located in Athens, Ga.
