Founded in 1950, the Howard School offers educational instruction to students with language learning disabilities and learning differences. It offers classes in English, math, science, language arts, social studies, health education, music and physical education. Its after school art programs offers classes in a range of visual media, such as clay, painting, drawing, and recording class. The school also provides a variety of assessment and consultation services to serve the individual needs of students. It has athletic teams for basketball, soccer, track and field, volleyball, golf that participate in the Atlanta athletic conference. The school s parent-teacher association participates in various school events and helps students in achieving academic excellence. Located in Atlanta, the Howard School enrolls more than 150 students in grades kindergarten through 12.

My son has been at the school now for four years and I could not imagine where we would be without this amazing school. The facility, faculty and services are truly encompassing and incomparable.
